This program strengthens your primary care and offers you many advantages:
Your primary care physician as your first point of contact for all health-related questions
Better coordination of your treatment
Avoidance of unnecessary duplicate examinations
Targeted and faster referrals to specialists
More time for your personal care
Continuous care, especially for chronic illnesses
As a participant, you agree to always consult your primary care physician first in case of health problems (exceptions apply, for example, to emergencies and ophthalmologists and gynaecologists).
Participating health insurance funds in Schleswig-Holstein (selection):
Various company health insurance funds (BKKs), e.g.:
(Participation may vary depending on the health insurance fund – we would be happy to advise you individually.)
Many statutory health insurance funds now offer corresponding primary care physician contracts to improve medical care in the long term and strengthen the primary care physician as the central point of contact.
Participation in the primary care physician contract program is voluntary and free of charge for you.
